International Rugby in 2011 returns to the home of the first ever Rugby World Cup held in 1987 .... New Zealand. The southern hemisphere is moves into springtime come October which will allow to see the sites as well as fantastic rugby action.
Both the North and South Islands will host the group phases at venues like: Dunedin, Invercargill, Napier, Hamilton and Whangarei. Christchurch and Wellington are both hosting two quarter finals, and the semi finals and final are being played at a new look Eden Park in Auckland.
Rugby Sevens is Fast ... Furious ... Exciting. In December 2009, sun kissed Dubai plays host to the Emirates Airline Dubai Rugby Sevens, while in March 2010, this famous rugby tournament returns to the events spiritual home, Hong Kong.
The first ever Hong Kong Sevens was played in March 1976 and has grown to be one of the world's premier rugby events. |
